This route is hands on muscular therapy focusing on tissue texture changes, asymmetries, restriction of motion and tenderness to palpation. Through the use of myofascial, mobilization, and joint play the goal of MSK osteopathic treatment is to ensure proper alignment of the spine, proper function of joints and any other musculoskeletal somatic dysfunctions needed to be addressed. A few examples would include but not limited to:

Cranio-Sacral Therapy
The goal of Cranial Sacral therapy is to restore cranial dysfunctions through light mobilization of the cranial bones and their relationship to the sacrum through the spine
The goals of CS therapy are to enhance hydration to the brain, to improve function of cranial nerves
Cranial Sacral Therapy is quite different from hands on manual therapy as it applies a very light touch following a very slow rhythm.
